BACKGROUND
In 2074, meteor cluster EC-79 struck Earth,
collapsing civilization and shattering global order.
From the impact came Ashrift,
a high-energy mineral that quickly became the cornerstone of power.
With heavy industry and supply chains broken,
large machinery failed.
In their place, modular personal armor emerged - light,
adaptable, and essential for survival in a hostile world.
By 2124,
the world had splintered into factions:
old corporations, warlords, machine-worshipping cults,
nomadic raiders, and mercenaries.
No one rules; chaos is the norm.
In this broken land, standing still means risk.
People move for fuel, water, and shelter.
And wherever Ashrift is found, conflict follows.
